Founded in the Netherlands, based on an intensive care need of one of the founders, Happyhomecare was born from the vision to provide high-quality, personal home care, tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Our journey started with the realization that traditional care models often do not adequately address the individual and emotional aspects of home care.
We saw an opportunity to create a care service that not only provides medical and physical support, but also a warm, personal approach that significantly improves the quality of life for our clients.

Our journey to the best care
Founding and Mission
In October 2013, the ICCA Group, trading as Happyhomecare, was founded. The goal was to provide intensive, customized care in clients' homes by live-in caregivers. The focus was on creating a safe environment in which individual care plans and goals were central.
First Steps and Growth
The first client was a family member of founder Alex Wijnen, which emphasizes the personal motivation behind the company. In the early years, Happyhomecare grew steadily, with an important milestone in 2015 when Aida, the current care director, joined and further shaped the care structure.
Development of Care Structures
Happyhomecare navigated through the complex healthcare legislation in the Netherlands, including the Healthcare Insurance Act and the Long-term Care Act. The organization specialized in WLZ care via a Personal Budget, with an emphasis on a personal approach and customization.
